Glass Sinks
In 1992, Francesca Alepin Kneider started a new trend on an international scale with the design of the Hectarus line of vitrified glass basins and accessory products. Over 30 different models can now be found all over the world, including: basins, bowls, countertops, pedestals and vanities.
In recognition of Francesca's creative work with sinks and other glass products, the Economuseum network had her open a branch demonstrating the vitrified glass process at the Hectarus offices in Montreal.
In addition, there have been countless unsolicited media articles extolling the beauty and originality of Francesca's glass art designs. For example, the August-September issue of parcours ran a full-page article entitled "Love with a Capital G, as in Glass."
